i won't give up

Last night, my daughter had her first practice for an upcoming ballet solo. 


It was late and we both had a long day behind us — school, work, dinner, homework, dance classes, and a paper route.


Then this happened:  


 


And I knew I would sit in a million waiting rooms and outside a thousands panes of glass to see this, to hear this, to feel this again and again. 


want my kids to have this joy; I hope they continue wanting it for themselves.
