meet granny, i'm glad i did

Last week, I wrote a post about the women in my family on my mother's side. It was very well received and the feedback has been wonderful. Like a typical tiger mom, mine has been showing it off sharing it with everyone she knows.

Since I originally posted, I found a photo that really captured the woman who lives at the heart of my story. I added it to the post.

Just seeing her again in this moment that she and I shared, brought a new flood of memories.

And so I decided to post it again, this time on its own.

Meet my Granny as we called her around our house or my Pau-Pau as she was formally called whenever we were with her.

Incredible. Strong. Unforgettable.

********************************************************************************************************************Speaking of showing off, I hope you don't mind if I do a little bit of my own! I'm very chuffed to have some of my work featured on the following sites:

YUMMYMUMMYCLUB: "You Surprised Me"

PhD IN PARENTING: "The A, B, C's of Toddlerhood Survival"

BABY YUMS: "It's a small world after all"

CANADIAN FAMILY: "Mine for the taking"

Oh and SharonDV thinks I have a sexy voice (and my husband is happy my voice has finally received its deserved recognition)
