The past year of concert-going has uncovered some amazing opening acts and new musical favourites.

When this performer came out on stage before Lissie at Adelaide Hall in Toronto, I was intrigued by his impressive beard. And you may have noticed that I'm always happy to see an acoustic guitar and rolled up shirtsleeves.

When he stepped up to the mic and sang, I was a goner.

Folk singer/songwriter, Spencer Burton, otherwise known as Grey Kingdom, unleashed his phenomenal talent and became another of my favoured Canadian talents.

Gone With You is the song I've been playing on repeat. It's on one of his newer EPs, The Weeping Suns.

Have a great weekend, friends. xo
